What QELAL is, and how to check our work

QELAL collects Ethiopian tender and bid notices from public sources into one searchable feed, shows how many days remain before each closes, and emails you before the deadline. Browsing is free and needs no account.

It is an independent service, not a government service and not affiliated with any buyer or portal.

Where the notices come from

Public listings from Ethiopian tender portals and buyer announcements. Every listing names its source and links the original notice.

How often we read them

Sources are read continuously through the day. Every tender links back to its original notice so you can confirm the latest terms.

How deadlines are handled

Dates are read from the notice and shown as days remaining. Where a notice is ambiguous we show the earlier date. The source document always governs.

Known gaps

Notices published only in print or on a buyer's noticeboard may be missing or late, and coverage outside Addis Ababa is thinner. We say so rather than imply completeness.

Found something wrong?

A wrong deadline is worse than a missing tender. Report one and it is corrected, with the correction noted on the listing. Always verify against the original notice before bidding.
