Request for Proposals (RFP) for the establishment of a corporate agreement with qualified 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star hotel service providers, as well as for outdoor catering service providers, in Addis Ababa for a one-year period the AHC-AAU Project.

1. Background

The Africa Health Collaborative- Addis Ababa University (AHC-AAU) project is a flagship initiative established to enhance capacity building, innovation, and support knowledge exchange in health environment across Ethiopia and the African region. AHC-AAU project aims to strengthen academic networks, promote inter-institutional collaboration, and advance the training of health professionals through integrated efforts in education, employment, Entrepreneurship, research, and policy engagement to transform health and  well-being in Ethiopia.

The AHC-AAU Project intends to establish a corporate agreement with qualified service providers in Addis Ababa for a one-year period. The invitation covers the following service categories:

• Lot 1: Five-star hotel services
• Lot 2: Four-star hotel services
• Lot 3: Three-star hotel services
• Lot 4: Outdoor catering services

Eligible and experienced providers are invited to participate in this engagement in accordance with the project's requirements.

2. Objectives

The primary objective of this invitation is to select and establish corporate agreements with qualified 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star hotel service providers, as well as outdoor catering service providers, in Addis Ababa for a one-year period for the AHC-AAU Project.

3. Qualifications

• Official Certification: Bidders for hotel services must possess a valid business license and an official star rating certification issued by the Ethiopian Tourism Authority, appropriate to their respective hotel category.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in providing hospitality services is required.
• References: Bidders shall provide evidence of at least three (3) previous corporate or institutional clients, including verifiable contact details.
• Legal and Tax Compliance: Bidders are required to submit valid documentation, including a Trade License, Tax Identification Number (TIN), Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate, Trade Registration Certificate, and a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.

4. Application procedure

Interested bidders are invited to participate in this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the establishment of a corporate agreement with qualified 5-star, 4-star, and 3-star hotel service providers, as well as outdoor catering service providers.

Eligible applicants may obtain the detailed Standard Bidding Document (SBD) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500, starting from April 20, 2026 G.C from the Tikur Anbesa specialized Hospital, College of Health Sciences' Administration/ Management Building 2nd Floor Room number 220

4. Submission Deadline

All bidders are required to submit separate technical and financial proposals in sealed and stamped envelopes (one original and one copy for each) at the Tikur Anbesa specialized Hospital, College of Health Sciences' Administration/ Management Building 2nd Floor Room number 220 on or before May 05, 2026 G.C at 2:00 PM (after lunch time) and the bid will be opened on May 05, 2026 G.C at 2:00 PM (after lunch time).
