As part of our 2026 annual activity plan, Right To Play invites all interested and eligible contractors to bid for the rehabilitation of the infrastructures listed below to be built in Debre Birhan, North Shewa Zone, Amhara National Regional State, Ethiopia.

Guidelines

1. Bidders should have

• Construction License GC/BC-Category V and above valid for 2018 E.C.
• Renewed construction and trade license for the year 2018 E.C
• VAT Registration Certificate and Tin Number. FY
• TAX clearance to demonstrate eligibility to participate in any bid in 2018 E.C

2. To collect bidding documents free of charge, Bidders are required to email all required legal documents by properly scanning originals and compiling in a single PDF via etprocurement@righttoplay.com

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Tendering Procedures and in compliance with Right To Play's procurement policies and donor requirements

4. Bid Security: Bids must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to 1% (one percent) of the total bid offer for the lot(s) being bid upon. The bid security must be in Certified Payment Order (CPO) or Bank Guarantee Letter addressed to "Right To Play Ethiopia". It should be submitted in a separate sealed envelope within the Technical Proposal valid for at least 150 days from the bid submission deadline. Failure to provide a valid bid security will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Technical and Financial proposals should be submitted both having Originals and Coples, following the procedure described in the bidding document, in a waxed sealed mother envelope to the RIGHT TO PLAY Office no later than May 7.2026 2:00 PM.

6. The Bid will be closed at 2:00 PM on May 7.2026 and will be opened at 2:30 PM on May 7,2026 in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives at Right To Play's Country Office. Addis Ababa.

7. Late bids will be automatically rejected.

8. All envelopes should be waxed, sealed, and stamped and should be clearly marked with Procurement Reference Number: RTP-ET-REHAB-0327

9. Bid Validity: Bids must remain valid for 120 days from the bid submission deadline.

10. The working language for this tender is English.

11. Bid Document will be shared with interested Bidders through email only. But Bidders are expected to return their technical and financial proposals in hard copies.

12. Right To Play Ethiopia reserves the right to reject the whole or part of the bid without giving any justifications.
