INVITATION TO BID

PROCUREMENT OF SURFACE PUMP INVERTER AND SUBMERSIBLE PUMP

ZOA from relief to recovery is an international NGO registered with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Charities and Societies Agency as Foreign Charity under registration certificate number 0739 to work in the fields of emergency relief and recovery operations to support the lives of refugees, returnees, internally displaced and victims of conflicts and natural disasters.

ZOA from Relief to Recovery invites qualified, competent, and reliable suppliers to submit quotations for the supply and delivery of the following items:

1. Vertical multistage surface pump suitable for a duty of 6 L/s at 210 m total dynamic head. The pump shall be driven by a 21 kW, 3-phase motor. Minimum suction nozzle size shall be DN100 and delivery nozzle size DN80, flanged to ISO standards

2. 22 kW solar pump hybrid inverter (PV + grid/generator), DC input 450-800 V, vector control, overload 150%, with full AC/ DC protection and pressure-based control accessories.

3. Submersible pump with 5" Submersible multistage centrifugal pump, Duty point: 21.6 m3/hr @ 136 m, Number of stages: -8- 11 (manufacturer-dependent) and materials (for drinking water):

Bid Participants shall present the following Mandatory Requirements with their bid document.

Mandatory Requirement

1. Copy of Renewed & Relevant business license

2. Copy of VAT Registration Certificate

3. Copy of TIN Certificate

4. Bid Security Bond valid for 90 days, 2% of bid amount by CPO or Bank Guarantee in the name of ZOA only issued by a recognized Banks. CPO will be returned after the winners' vendor identified & awarded.

5. Relevant document which can show past performance and experience.

6. Right supplier category
  • Bid will be floated from April 26, 2026, to May 26, 2026, up to 2:00 P.M. (afternoon).
  • Late submission will be rejected.
  • ZOA Ethiopia office reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process partially or all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
  • Bid instruction document and technical specification document can be obtained from ZOA from relief to recovery, Country Office in Addis Ababa, the office is located on the way to the Somali Embassy in Bole Michael, near Tizeze Hotel from April 27, 2026, to May 11, 2026, during working hours (8:30 A.M.- 5:00 P.M.).
  • Bid will be closed on May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM (afternoon) and will be opened on the same date at 2:30 PM (afternoon) at ZOA country office, Addis Ababa.
  • Bidders are advised to properly read & understand ZOA's Tender guideline to fill in all the necessary details requested in the tender guide.
