1. The Gambella General Hospital has received budget from GPNRS Government towards the cost of Water Supply and Sanitation Project for Gambella General Hospital and it intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Fixing of Pipes Fittings and Sanitary installations and maintenance works (for all civil works and Auxiliary buildings in the compounds) under Gambella General Hospital for Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
2. The Gambella General Hospital now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders for the Fixing and construction of the above stated works under Gambella General Hospital Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) a procedure specified in World Bank Guidelines and Regional procurement guideline: Procurement under IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
4. The bidder should have the current relevant renewed license of WWC/GC SEVEN or above from the respective authorities.
5. Bidders should have the experience on construction of at least two similar sizes and type of projects in the last three year, supported with name of client, type and value of contracts.
6. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after Bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by bid security of birr 50,000 in the form of CPO or unconditional bank Guarantee.
7. Bids shall be delivered to the address specified below on or before 3:30 P.M, local time on 6/8/2026 G.C. Bids shall be opened at 4:00 PM local time of the same day in the presence of the bidders or their representative.
8. The tender will remain open for 21 consecutive days only. It will be opened on the 22nd day.
9. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
10.  Qualification requirements: Bidders should have to fulfill the qualification requirement stated in the bidding document.
11. Qualification requirements: (i) ownership (or existing lease) of a suitable dump truck/,mixer, pick up etc (ii) completion of at least Two contracts of similar size and type in each of the last three years, (iii) annual turnover of 1.5 times the bid value in each of the last three years,,and (iv) liquid assets of at least 1/3 the contract value, etc.
12. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased directly from the Gambella General Hospital on submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Br 2000 or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Local bidders are required to attach, with their application, a copy of renewed license, VAT certificate, a valid tax clearance and TIN.
13. Gambella General Hospital reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
