SHA has various projects in Amhara, Oromiya, and South regions of Ethiopia.

SHA is implementing an Irish Aid funded project entitled "Building a regenerative and inclusive and sustainable food system for transforming rural livelihoods in Ethiopia/ ETL9 and Transforming Smallholder Dairy Producers through promoting Climate-Smart Dairy Value chains/ ETMO' is designed to be implemented over 54 months (from June 2023 to December 2027). Self Help Africa Ethiopia office would like to invite eligible contractors to bid for the construction of RUSACCOS (Rural Savings and Credit Cooperative Office) office and Mini Hall in Siya Debrena Weyu and Abichu Gigna Woredas, North Shewa zone of Oromia and Amhara region and Kindo Koysha Woreda of Southern Regions. SHA hereby invites eligible and qualified bidder to submit a Bid to this Invitation to Bid.

For detail information about the bid and specification, interested vendors can collect the bid document from SHA at office hours (Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm, and Friday until 12 am only). The bid document can be purchased by eligible bidders during office hours from SHA in Ethiopia Country Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of birr 3000.00 (Three Thousand birr only) by depositing to Account name: Self Help Africa: CBE bank / Addis Ababa branch/ Account number: 1000000935496. Bids must be received by Self Help Africa at the address specified below, no later than June 01, 2026.

Your bid submission, consisting of both the Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal in a separate sealed envelopes, must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the instruction to bidders.

Eligible bidders are contractors holding a valid General Contractor (GC) Grade Five (5) or above license, with renewed business license for 2018 EC, and who are VAT registered. Interested bidders may obtain the bidding documents from the date of publication of this advertisement until June 01, 2026 at 9:00 am. Bid submission will be opened on June 5, 2026 at 9.30 am East African Time. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. Bidders must ensure that the site visit report is submitted together with the Financial Proposal. Please note that only one Lot will be awarded to a successful contractor based on the evaluation criteria.
