Section 1. INVITATION TO BID

1. The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS), Dire Dawa Branch Office, hereby invites all eligible, qualified contractors of category BC/GC 7 and above to execute Construction of Phase II of Medium Market Centre in Dire Dawa city, by furnishing the necessary labor, Materials and Equipment.

2. The bidders shall submit renewed trade license of the year 2018 EC, Registration certificate, TIN No., VAT Registration, Supplier's list, tax clearance certificate and renewed competence certificate issued by authorized government body.

3. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document by depositing a non-refundable payment amount ETB 1000 (One Thousand Birr) on CBE Account Number 1000014144963 in the name of Ethiopian Red Cross Society Dire Dawa Branch Office then submit bank advice and collect the bidding document from Dire Dawa Branch Office, at Dire Dawa.

4. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopia Red Cross Society along with a Bid Security Bid Bond) in CPO form Only as Specified in the bidding data sheet amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The bid Security Shall be valid for 14 consecutive days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid.

5. Financial offer shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third sealed envelope clearly labelled as TECHNICAL OFFER The four envelopes including the CPO shall then be sealed in and signed, sealed outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopia Red Cross Society shall he submitted at ERCS Dire Dawa Branch office

6. Bidders are kindly requested to submit their price quotation along with technical document based on detailed requirements on our Bill of Quantity on or before June 3, 2026 at 3:30 PM.

7. Bid will be closed on the June 3, 2026, at 3:30 pm and will be opened on the same date at 4:00 pm at Dire Dawa Branch Office, at Dire Dawa. in the presence of those bidders or their authorized representatives.

8. Bidders are advised to read bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bidding document.

9. Failure to comply with the conditions from No.1 to 8 above may result in an automatic rejection.

10. Ethiopia Red Cross Society Dire Dawa branch office reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders.
