Assessment on the Impact of Climate Change and Natural Disasters on Women and Girls' Access to SRH and GBV Services

MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices (MSIE-RC), formerly Marie Stopes International Ethiopia, in partnership with UNFPA, invites eligible and qualified research consultancy firms to submit technical and financial proposals for conducting an assessment on the impact of climate change and natural disasters on women and girls access to Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) services.

The assessment will be conducted in the Konso-Karat area and Afar-Abala area from June to August 2026.

Objective of the Assignment

The purpose of the assessment is to generate evidence on the Intersection of climate change, displacement, SRH, and GBV, and to inform evidence-based programming, advocacy, and policyinterventions aimed at profecting the health, rights, and dignity: of women and girls in climate-affected settings across Ethiopia.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested consultancy firms must demonstrate: 

  • Proven experience in public health, SRH. GBV, humanitarian. or climate-related research
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative assessments
  • Availability of qualified multidisciplinary research teams
  • Valid business registration and licenses in Ethiopia

Mandatory Documents 

Applicants are required to submit:

  • Signed and stamped bidding documents
  • Renewed Business License
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate
  • VAT Registration Certificate.

Bid Submission Requirements

Bidders must submit:

1. Technical Proposal (sealed separately).

2. Financial Proposal (sealed separately)

Both envelopes must be clearly labeled and submitted in the designated bid box.

Bid documents can be collected from the reception desk of MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices Support Office located at Wolo Sefer, in front of Tebaber Berta Building. Addis Ababa, during working hours (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM), starting from 25 May 2026,

Before 10:00 AM

Bid Opening

Bids will be opened on 8 June 2026 at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the MSIE Meeting Hall.
