INVITATION FOR BID (IFB)

Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW) is a global development organization committed to addressing the needs and potential of the world's largest youth generation. The organization has been working in Ethiopia focusing on empowering young people to make informed decision about their sexual and reproductive health, livelihood and access services.

With KOICA Funded UNFPA Projects in South Ethiopia Region, DSW in collaboration with partners has planned to undertake the Renovation and Maintenance of Karat Youth Center to make it youth friendly and model youth empowerment center that provides a comprehensive and integrated services for young people.

For this the organization invites contractors with Category GC/BC Grade 5 and above to undertake the complete renovation, maintenance and expansion of additional room/s (Office, Youth Friendly Clinic, Cafeteria Block, DSTV Block, Gymnastics & Tekuando Block, Pool & Kerenbula Block, Water Tanker Elevator, Main Block Maintenance and Renovation and Septic tank) for Karat Youth center in Konso zone of South Ethiopia region located in Karat Town.

Hence Interested bidders are invited to apply for this task by submitting all the necessary documents that include but not limited to Valid and renewed Trade License for the current Ethiopian fiscal year, VAT Registration Certificate, Tax Clearance Certificate valid at the time of bid submission, Registration Certificate from the Ministry of Construction or relevant regional bureau, financial proposal as per the bill of quantity, proof of experiences and expertise in the field by ceiled envelop to DSW Ethiopia Office. Bidders can buy bid document from DSW Ethiopia office including through online by 500 ETB and get the QR code to access the bid document.

The award structure will be a Single Lot. Bidders must bid on all items and components listed in the Bill of Quantities. Partial bids or bids that do not cover the entire scope of work will be rejected.

A Bid Security of 2.5% of the total submitted bid amount is required. This security must be provided exclusively as a CPO (Certified Payment Order). No other forms of security or guarantees will be considered.
