DMC Construction PLC now invites Eligible bidders (Subcontractors) to submit sealed bids for the Construction works of Ayat-3 Condominium Extension Road Project.

NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BID

1. DMC Construction Plc. has entered a Contract Agreement with Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA) for the Construction of Arabsa-3 and Ayat-3 Condominium Extension Road Project. The project road is located in the Addis Ababa in Lemi Kura Sub-City.

2. DMC Construction PLC now invites Eligible bidders (Subcontractors) to submit sealed bids for the Construction works of Ayat-3 Condominium Extension Road Project by providing all the required manpower, machinery, and materials, except pipes, which will be provided by the Main Contractor.

3. The Works under this Bid consist of, but are not limited to, Earthworks including cut-to-fill and borrow-to-fill operations, rock fill, soft excavation, intermediate excavation, hard excavation, capping layer, and sub-base works. The Works also include minor structural works such as Masonry retaining wall construction, reinforced concrete (RC) pipe culvert works (with pipes to be provided by the Contractor), RC concrete manhole works, and other related structural works, all in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings.

4. Interested bidders shall submit the following evidence: above will be rejected from further evaluation.

i) Trading license renewed for 2018E.C;

ii) Tax clearance certificate, which states that the bidder can participate in any public tender, valid at least up to 28days after bid submission date, VAT and TIN registration certificates;

iii) Certificate of registration from Ministry of Works and Urban Development with Category of GC-4/RC-4/RC-3 and above; and renewed for 2018E.C;

iv) Registration as supplier in the list of the mandated public body, i.e. Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency (PPPAA) and

v) Bidders who fail to provide valid documents mentioned under item 4 (i), (ii), (iii) & (iv)

5. The Peak Annual Construction Turnover (ACT) for last five years must be at least ETB 50Million.

The Bidder must demonstrate sufficient financial capability to undertake the works and submission of bank statements or financial documents may be required.

6. Interested Eligible bidders shall have General Experience under construction contracts in the role of Contractor, Subcontractor or Joint Venture Partner at least 3projects in the last Ten (10) years.

7. Interested Eligible bidders shall at least have one Specific Experience having in Road construction contracts in the last 5years in the role of Contractor, Subcontractor or Joint Venture Partner.

8. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure, specified in the bidding documents, and is open to all eligible bidders. The detail qualification criteria are stated in the bidding document.

9. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at DMC Construction plc. at the address given below, from 8:00 to 12:00AM and 1:00 to 5:00PM from Monday to Saturday. 10. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, "Qualification Application & Bid Security" in one envelope and "Financial Bid" in the other envelope. the two envelopes shall be sealed in an outer envelope.

11. Evaluation is to be carried out in two stages, Financial Evaluation first and Technical qualification next.

12. Bids must be delivered to the address below before Jun 06, 2026 at 2:30P.M. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 50,000.00 (ETB: Fifty Thousand) in a format acceptable to the Main Contractor. Late bids will be rejected. One original and One copy of the bids have to be submitted.

13. Financial qualification and Bid security of the bidders will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address below on June 06, 2026 at 2:30PM.
