Senga Tera 40/60 Communal Building Homes Cooperative Pvt. Ltd. Invites qualified and experienced Elevator Engineering Consulting Firms to submit Technical and Financial Proposals for consultancy services related to the assessment, modernization, replacement, supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of ten (10) elevator systems located at the Association's residential complex.

Background

The Association's existing elevators have experienced recurring operational challenges, including frequent breakdowns, poor performance, reliabilityconcerns, increasing maintenance costs, and difficulties in obtaining spare parts and technical support. The Association intends to engage an independent consultant to assess the current systems and provide professional engineering services throughout the project lifecycle.

Scope of Services

The selected consultant shall:

• Conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of all elevators.
• Review maintenance records and operational history
• Evaluate modernization and replacement alternatives.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQ, and tender documents.
• Assist in contractor evaluation and selection
• Monitor and supervise implementation works
• Witness testing and commissioning activities
• Facilitate final acceptance and handover.

1. Eligibility Requirements

Interested bidders shall submit:

• Valid and renewed Business License.(2018) E.COKE
• Company Registration Certificate.
• TIN and VAT Registration Certificate.
• Company Profile and Evidence of Similar Experience.

2. Bid Document Fee

Interested bidders may obtain the bidding documents upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 200 (Two Hundred Birr).

3. Bid Security

Bidders shall submit a Bid Security Security (CPO) of ETB 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Birr) issued in the name of Senga Tera 40/60 Communal Building Homes Cooperative Pvt. Ltd.

The Bid Security shall remain valid for ninety (120) calendar days from the bid submission deadline. Bid securities of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned upon completion of the procurement process.

4. Bid Submission

Technical and Financial Proposals shall be submitted in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked:

• "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL"
• "FINANCIAL PROPOSAL"

Both envelopes shall be enclosed within one outer sealed envelope indicating:

5. Submission Deadline

Completed bids shall be submitted to the Association Office from june 3 2026 upto June 30/2026 for ten (10) working days from the date of announcement.

Tender document submission deadline June 13/2026 4:00 pm

6. Bid Opening

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the Association Office on June 15/2026 at 10:00am
