INVITATION TO TENDER

Grand Assistive Technology Center (GAT) invites eligible and qualified suppliers, manufacturers, and fabricators to submit sealed bids for the supply, fabrication, and delivery of five different single-cavity crutch molds for use with a manual injection machine.

The required molds shall be compatible with a manual injection machine must meet the technical specifications, drawings, dimensions, quality standards, and functional requirements approved by GAT. Each mould shall be single-cavity and suitable for manual injection production. Bidders are expected to provide durable, accurate, and fit-for- purpose molds for crutch component production. Eligible bidders must submit the following documents: valid business registration or trade license; Tax Identification Number certificate; VAT registration certificate, where applicable; company profile and evidence of relevant experience; technical proposal describing fabrication method, materials, quality control process, compatibility with manual injection machines; financial proposal clearly indicating unit price, total price, VAT, payment terms, and any additional costs; delivery schedule; and warranty and after-sales support statement.

Bidding Document: Interested bidders may obtain the bidding document within 10 consecutive working days from the date this tender notice is published in The Reporter newspaper, Monday to Friday from 2:00-6:00 and 7:00-11:00 local time.

The bidding document can be collected upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 100.00 /One Hundred Birr/ deposited to the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia account number 1000559945025 under the name Grand Assistive Technology Center. Bidders must present a copy of the deposit slip in person to collect the bidding document from:

Bidders must provide a bid security/bid bond amounting to 1% of the total bid price in the form of a bank-certified payment order/CPO/or an unconditional bank guarantee.

Bidders must complete the bidding document prepared by the organization properly, without erasure or alteration, and submit it in one sealed envelope. Completed bid documents shall be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at Yin Yang Physiotherapy Clinic within 10 consecutive days from the date of publication of this notice.

The bid will be closed on the 10th day at 8:30 local time and opened on the same day at 9:00 local time in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend. If the bid opening date falls on a non-working day, the bid will be opened on the next working day at the same time.

GAT reserves the right to cancel the tender fully or partially if a better alternative is found.
