Oromia Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union LL located at Oromia national regional state Sheger city, Gelan sub-city invites a Contractors of having category of GC5/BC 4 and above those eligible and qualified bidders which fulfill the following requirements for the construction fence located at Oromia national regional state, West Guji Zone, Bule hora Woreda Gerba town depending on standard bidding document developed by the principal.

Therefore, Bidders can obtain a complete set of bidding document from the office of the Union located at Gelan sub-city, starting from the first date this notice posted on the Addis Zeman newspaper against payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 1,000.00 (One thousand birr only).

Bidding will be conducted through the National Open Competitive Bidding (NCB) Procedure Specified in the bidding documents and is open to all eligible bidders. A detail specified criterion is stated in the bidding documents.

Bidders shall present:

1. Interested contractors of category GC5/BC 4 and above shall present valid license for the current year 2018 E.C, and its tax clearance from federal or other respected Revenue Bureau valid for at least at bid submission date and VAT registration certificate and all other legal documents.

2. Bidders provide 2% bid security from the total proposal price in the form of CPO only.

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain Standard bid document (SBD) at the Union office at the addressed stated below from 2:00 to 6:00 am and 7:00 to 11:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 2:00 to 5:30 am and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday 2:00 to 6:00 am local time.

4. Submission and opening of the bid will be at the office of the union at the addressed stated below.

5. The deadline of bid submission & bid opening (both Technical and financial offers) will be:

• For technical proposal the closing and opening day will be on the 15th working day at 4:00 and 4:30 am local time respectively, from which it is posted on the Addis Zemen newspaper. If the 15th day will not be working day, the opening and closing day of the bid will the next working day with the same time table stated above. Late bid shall be rejected. Working days are from Monday to Saturday.
• Financial proposal opening date will be after evaluation of earlier submitted or opened technical proposal documents.

6. The bidders shall submit one "Original" and "One Copy" of Technical and Financial documents each that shall be produced in such a way that the original one and copy to be wax sealed in one envelope for technical and financial separately.

1. It should also be labeled as 'one original and one copy' and all to be placed in one outer large mother envelope. The bid security must be wax sealed separately marked "Bid security" and must be put in the mother envelope. Every envelope should be wax sealed, Signed and stamped by the bidder properly and separately.

7. The winner bidder must provide performance security bond 10% from the total contract in the form of CPO only.

8. The construction of the work shall be completed within the maximum of 365 calendar days from the commencement date of the work.

9. The union has the right to reject all or parts of the bid.
