The Addis Ababa Design, Construction & Consulting Enterprise (AADCCE) is a public enterprise established with the aim of becoming a leading, preferred and competitive Construction Contractor in Building, Road, Water and any other Civil Construction. Currently, The Enterprise is interested to Sub Contracting of a Construction, Completion and Commissioning of any Building projects including Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and associated infrastructure works either as a complete package or as separate work components.

Therefore, Addis Ababa Design, Construction & Consulting Enterprise (AADCCE) invites competent contractors' having construction license on BC with grade of 1 to 5 and interested to work with fixed price rate set by the enterprise to submit sealed prequalification application for expression of interest.

Brief Scope of Work

The main project activities to be carried out by Sub contacting a Construction, Completion and Commissioning of any Building projects including Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and associated infrastructure works either as a complete package or as separate work components.

Detail specification and quantity of works will be specified after short listing of contractors as depends on the nature of the project.

1. The Applicant is required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

1.1. Applicants shall provide the statutory registration documents i.e. copies of TIN, VAT registration certificate, Tax Clearance and Trade License which are renewed in the budget year.

1.2. Demonstrate financial and organizational strength by attaching audited accounts for the last 3 years.

1.3. Company profile which contains Historical background and Organizational Structure, Company experience in similar Projects. List of Heavy and Light Equipment's and machineries owned or Leased with supporting documents.

1.4. Current Financial Situation of the Company.

1.5. The applicant must be category BC (grade 1 to 5) Construction License which has expressed interest to participate and has made available documentation of proven experience in similar construction works.

1.6. The applicant must have, in the past 5 years Constructed at least one similar project in terms of the project scope and cost.

2. The applicants shall consider the following application procedures and documents;

2.1. The applicant shall bear all costs related to the preparation and submission of this EOI. Addis Ababa Design, Construction & Consulting Enterprise shall in no case be liable or responsible for these costs regardless of the conduct and outcome of the selection process.

2.2. Incorrect, incomplete, inadequate information may lead to rejection of the applications.

2.3. All documents must be submitted in English Language.

2.5. AADCCE has the right to reject the application without communicating the contractor

2.6. AADCCE shall not provide explanation to the applications related to the short listing and selection process. The decision of AADCCE in this respect shall be final and binding on all applicants.

2.7. AADCCE shall not be obligated to provide advance payment to subcontractors. Accordingly, the applicant shall possess sufficient financial capacity, evidenced by bank statements, credit facilities, or other acceptable financial documents, to finance not less than thirty percent (25%) of the subcontract value from its own resources.

2.8. Submission of documents shall as per the Terms' of References given in the EOI

2.9. The Expression of Interest application shall be prepared and submitted using the Standard Bidding Document (SBD) issued for this EOI. The SBD is available at the Enterprise Procurement Department and forms part of the EOI requirements. Applications not prepared in accordance with the SBD may be rejected.
