Section 1. INVITATION TO Re -BID

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS), North Wollo zone Branch Office, hereby invites all eligible, qualified contractors of category Building Contractor-5, General Contractor- 5 and above to execute Construction of compound fencing, ambulances maintenance room renovation, and Office rehabilitation for the North Wollo Zonal Branch Office at Woldia, by furnishing the necessary labor, Materials and Equipment.

1. The bidders shall submit renewed trade license of the year 2018 EC, Registration certificate, TIN No., VAT Registration, Supplier's list, tax clearance certificate and renewed competence certificate issued by authorized government body.
2. Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document by depositing a non-refundable payment amount ETB 1000 (One thousand Birr) on CBE Account Number 1000023866138 in the name of Ethiopian Red Cross Society North Wollo zone Branch Office then submit bank advice and collect the bidding document North Wollo zone Branch Office, at Woldiya.
3. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopia Red Cross Society along with a Bid Security Bid Bond) in CPO form Only as Specified in the bidding data sheet amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The bid Security Shall is valid for 28 consecutive days beyond the end of the validity period of the bid.
4. Financial offer shall be produced in separate sealed envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY. TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third sealed envelope clearly labelled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The four envelopes including the CPO shall then be sealed in and signed, sealed outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopia Red Cross Society North Wollo zone Branch Office whose address is mentioned below.
5. Bid will be closed on 10th consecutive calendar day at 2:00 pm, and technical document will be opened on the same day at 2:30 pm in the presence of those bidders on their authorized representatives who are willing to attend the event at ERCS North Wollo Zone Branch Office meeting hall.
6. If the 10th consecutive calendar day's day is a holiday, closing and opening will be the next working day.
7. Bidders are advised to read the bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bid document.
8. Bidders are required to fill all the necessary details requested in the bid document.
9. Failure to comply with the conditions from no.2 to 8 above shall result in an automatic rejection.
10. Ethiopian Red Cross Society North Wollo Zone Branch Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof.
