INVITATION TO TENDER

To: All Eligible Public Universities and Colleges Established by Law
The Somali Regional State Social Affairs Bureau hereby invites wax-sealed bids from eligible public universities and colleges established by law for the provision of accommodation, meals, refreshment services, graduation ceremony, and certification for an in-service training programme for social workers
1. To obtain the bidding documents, bidders shall present an application letter and an official document confirming that the institution is established by the relevant Federal or Regional Proclamation or other legal instrument, together with a TIN Registration Certificate (where applicable) and a letter authorizing participation in the bidding process.
2. Elligible bidders are required to submit Technical and Financial proposals.
3. A complete set of documents, in English, may be purchased by any interested elligible bidder against a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr) at: Somali Region Social Affairs Bureau, Jigjiga, Office of the Procurement, Tel: 0252783696, PO Box 235 Jigjiga. Ethiopia
4. Any querries can be forwarded to the procuring entity
5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of Certified Payment Order (CPO) or a Bank Guarantee of amount 30,000.00 Birr /Thirty Thousand Birr/.
6. Bids Must be delivered to our Bureau at the 5th day as of the bid is issued on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper at 10:00 Am in the morning. The bidders' document will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend the bid opening ceremony at our office, at the 5th day as of the bid is issued on The Ethiopian Herald Ne at 10:30 Am in the morning.
N.B. If the bid opening ceremony date is not a working day, the bid opening date will be next working day.
7. Bids shall be valid for 90 days after bid opening.
8. Somali Region Social Affairs Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids.
