The Somali Regional State Social Affairs Bureau is inviting sealed bids for two lots: Lot 1 for the procurement of office equipment, furniture, and furnishing, and Lot 2 for the procurement of spare parts for vehicle maintenance.

Somali Regional State Social Affairs Bureau now invites wax sealed bids from eligible bidders for

• LOT 1: Procurement of office equipment, furniture and furnishing
• LOT 2: Procurement of spare parts for vehicle maintenance

1. To buy documents, the bidder have to present application letter, Supplier Certificate of Registration from the Federal/Regional Public Property and Property Management Agency, valid Business / Trade License, Tax Clearance certificate, VAT registration certificate and TIN Registration.

2. Eligible bidders are required to submit Technical and Financial proposals.

3. A complete set of documents, in English, may be purchased by any interested eligible bidder against a nonrefundable fee of Birr 500 (Five Hundred Birr) at: Somali Region Social Affairs Bureau, Jigjiga, Office of the Procurement, Tel: 025 278 3696, P.O Box 235 Jigjiga, Ethiopia

4. Any queries can be forwarded to the procuring entity

5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of Certified Payment Order (CPO) or a Bank Guarantee of amount 30,000.00 Birr/Thirty Thousand Birr/.

6. Bids Must be delivered to our Bureau at the 5th day as of the bid is issued on Ethiopian Herad News Paper at 10:00 Am in the morning. The bidders' document will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend the bid opening ceremony at our office, at the 5th day as of the bid is issued on Ethiopian Herad News Paper at 10:30 Am in the morning.

N.B. If the bid opening ceremony date is not a working day, the bid opening date will be next working day.

7. Bids shall be valid for 90 days after bid opening.

8. Somali Region Social Affairs Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids.
