The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 1956 that fulfills its mandate by providing direct assistance to conflict-affected populations - refugees, internally displaced people (IDPs) and host communities in the conflict areas of the world.

The Danish Refugee Council in Ethiopia intends to contract suppliers for the below listed service. The tender dossier and instructions to suppliers are available for collection during working hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in person, as from July 13th, 2026, till July 30, 2026

1. DRC north area office, located at, Mekelle Adi-Hawsi, within Save the Children's third floor

2. Addis Ababa main Office, located at Bole, DANISH REFUGEE COUNCIL Bole Sub city, Woreda2, Block 24, Parcel 53, House #9999/385 Near Embassy of Somalia

3. Interested potential suppliers can also send their official request for bid documentation via E-mail from mekonnen.weldu@drc.ngo or solome.jebesa@drc.ngo

• Interested and eligible suppliers for North area office are therefore requested to submit their Bid documents in person or via email at DRC Mekelle area office or DRC Addis Abeba main office from 13th July till July 30, 2026, 5:00pm and Bid will be closed on the same date. The bid will be opened on July 31, 2026 @9:00AM in both Mekelle area office and Addis Abeba DRC office.

The bids should be submitted in separate sealed envelopes (containing the technical and the financial offers), both bearing the relevant reference number mentioned above.

• Bidders MUST provide renewed and valid business licenses, a copy of TIN, and VAT registration certificate.
• Bidders MUST provide original plus copy of financial and technical documents in a separate envelope.
• Bids submitted after the deadline or in violation of the formal requirements will not be considered
• Further Instructions on submission are provided on tender dossier.

Note:

1. The suppliers should come up with the relevant license copy during the collection of the bid documents.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

The tender documents should be received at DRC Mekelle, and Addis Abeba offices, Ethiopia, with the subject, ITB reference Number and Lot Number clearly marked on the envelope.
