Andbeteseb Housing Cooperative Society hereby re-invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified contractors for the execution of the remaining construction works of its 2B+G+13 Residential Building Project through National Competitive Bidding (NCB).

This procurement is a readvertisement of the previously advertised tender. Accordingly, all interested eligible bidders, including those who participated in the previous bidding process, are invited to submit new bids in accordance with the requirements of this re-advertisement. Any bids submitted under the previous advertisement shall not be considered, and bidders shall submit a new bid in accordance with the requirements of this invitation. Previous bidders may collect the revised bidding documents free of charge.

1. Project Description

The project consists of the completion of a 2B+G+13 Residential Building located in Akaki Kality Sub-City, Woreda 07, Addis Ababa. The building has currently reached the Ground Floor structural stage.

2. Scope of Works

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Completion of all remaining reinforced concrete structural works.
• Supply and installation of subsurface drainage works.
• Provision of all required labor, construction equipment, machinery, fools, supervision, temporary works, and all associated services necessary for the Successful completion of the project.

3. Employer-Supplied Materials

The Employer shall provide the following major materials:

• Reinforcement Steel Bars and Ready-Mix Concrete for structural works.

The successful Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, machinery, tools, supervision, temporary works, consumable materials, and all other materials not specifically supplied by the Employer.

4. Eligibility Requirements

Interested bidders shall meet the following minimum requirements:

• Hold a valid and renewed General Contractor (GC) Grade 1 or Building Contractor (BC) Grade 1 license issued by the appropriate government authority for the 2018 Ethiopian Fiscal Year (E.F.Y.).
• Possess a valid Trade License.
• Possess a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate.
• Possess a valid VAT Registration Certificate. Possess a valid Tax Clearance Certificate. And Be registered in the Government Supplier List.
• Have proven experience in the successful execution of similar high-rise building construction projects.

5. Purchase of Bidding Documents

Interested eligible bidders may obtain the bidding documents from the Andbeteseb Housing Cooperative Society Office during normal working hours upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 2,000.00 (Two Thousand Birr Only).

Bidders who purchased the bidding documents under the previous advertisement may collect the revised bidding documents free of charge upon presentation of proof of the previous purchase.

6. Bid Security

All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to Two Percent (2%) of the Bid Price in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by a bank licensed to operate in Ethiopia.
Any bid not accompanied by the required Bid Security shall be rejected.

7. Bid Submission

Bidders shall submit their bids in sealed envelopes, comprising one (1) original and the required number of copies of the following documents, each enclosed in separate sealed inner envelopes clearly marked as:

• Technical Proposal, Financial Offer and Bid Security.

The sealed inner envelopes shall be enclosed in one sealed outer envelope, clearly marked with the name of the procurement, the bidder's name and address, and the statement "Do Not Open Before the Official Bid Opening Time." The complete bid shall be delivered to the And-Beteseb Housing Cooperative Society Office on or before Bid Submission Deadline: 28/07/2026, Time: 5:00 pm Late bids shall be rejected and returned unopened. All bidding documents shall be prepared in the English Language.

8. Bid Opening

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.

9. Employer's Right

Andbeteseb Housing Cooperative Society reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to annul the bidding process at any time before contract award without incurring any liability to bidders. Address below.
