Hellenic Greek international school invites eligible and qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the construction, renovation, rehabilitation, and maintenance of school facilities. The project aims to improve the learning environment and provide safe, hygienic, and functional facilities for students, teachers, and staff. The works are categorized by Lots as follow: -

LOT 1: Project works

1. High school staff toilet partition and add extra toilets renovation as new

2. Chemistry lab renovation installing gas pipe line and all finishing works

3. Labor union toilet for men and women, demolishing old ones and renovation

4. Labor union staff office and MUN office, academic office renovation ceiling roof and ceramic floor, painting work

5. Meeting hall toilet demolishing internal partition and toilets and install 6 toilet room with all necessary work needed

6. Academic toilet renovation demolishing old ones and install 2 new toilets with all necessary work needed

LOT 2: Project works

1. ICT room toilet and girl's dorm toilet and ICT room renovation demolishing old ones and renovating as Bill of quantity

2. Elementary staff office, Greek office, and library renovation

3. Elementary student toilet renovation

4. Dressing room renovation

5. External wall plastering and painting, install new main ge door

• Scope of Work

1. Scope of Work

The Contractor shall carry out the following construction, renovation, and maintenance works in accordance with the approved, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), technical specifications, and the standards of Hellenic Greek International School:

• Construction of new student and staff toilet facilities.
• Complete renovation and upgrading of existing toilet facilities.
• Renovation and refurbishment of classrooms.
• Renovation of administrative offices and other staff workspaces.
• Interior and exterior painting of school buildings.
• Floor finishing works, including tiling and ceramic installation.
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Improvement and upgrading of the school's water supply and distribution system.
• Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and related infrastructure.
• Roof repair, maintenance, and replacement where required
• Supply of all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and tools required for the successful execution of the works.
• Site cleaning, debris removal, and proper disposal of construction waste upon completion of the works.
• Execution of any additional construction, renovation, or maintenance works as specified in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ). technical specifications, drawings, or as reasonably instructed by the School's Project Supervisor during the implementation period.

2. Eligibility Requirements

Interested bidders shall provide the following documents:

1. Valid Construction Contractor License grade 7 and above for the current fiscal year, Valid Trade License, Valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), VAT Registration Certificate, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Business Registration, Evidence of experience in construction projects completed during the last 2 years, List of key technical personnel and audited financial statements or proof of financial capacity.

2. Price alone is not the only criterion; bidders must also be technically responsive and qualified.

N.B: Bidders may bid for individual lots only.

CPO amount for each lot is 60,000 (sixty thousand) birrs.

Site Visit: A mandatory site visit Shall be Conducted.

2.1 Date Tuesday, July 28,2026 Time 10:00 AM (local time 4:00 the morning) at Hellenic Greek International School, at address mentioned below.

2.2 Failure to attend the mandatory site visit may result in disqualification from the bid.

Bid Documents

1. The Bid Document Shall be obtained from Finance and Procurement Department, from Monday, July 27, 2026, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 12:00 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM until Monday, August 3,2026 9:00 AM, you have to be pay, Payment of a non-returnable fee of Birr 200 (Two Hundred Birr only) for each LOT through Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Account No.1000661449959 to the account of Hellenic Greek International

2. Bidders must submit the Technical and the financial document in Separate envelope 2, (Two) copies labeled as original and copy. (Technical total 2 documents, 1 original and 1 copy, Financial total 2 documents 1 original and 1 copy).

3. BID bond shall be submitted in Separate envelope.

4. Bid must be accompanied a bid bond above specified amount in the form of unconditional and irrevocable Bank Guarantee or Cashier's Payment Order (CPO) at least valid for 90 days up on submission of offer. At the same time the bid validity shall be 90 days.

5. Bid will be closed Monday, August 3,2026 9:30 A.M and will open in the same day Monday, August 3, 2026 10:00 A.M in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives at the avenue of Hellenic Greek International School.

6. Failure to comply with any of the condition stated above shall result in automatic rejection.

7. The school reserves the right to accept or reject the bid either partially or fully.
