Shaggar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise is inviting eligible bidders for the maintenance of various types of pumps through National Competitive Bidding (NCB).

Shaggar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise invites bidders for the Maintenance of different types of pumps.

1. The bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures and is open to all eligible bidders as specified and defined in the bidding document

2. The Bid is open for all eligible bidders that fulfill the following criteria: -

•  Renewed trade license, VAT registration and Tax payer certificate,
• Tax clearance which states that the bidder is eligible to participate in any public tender & valid at least the bids submission dead line date,
• Bidder should attach all necessary certificates listed in the bid document.
•  Bidders shall submit the documents as described in ITB
•  No Poor/bad performances record for the last five consecutive years

3. Interested eligible bidders can be purchase the bid document from the first announcement date of this notice on newspaper during working days from Shaggar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise Office by paying non-returnable fee of Birr 2,500 (Two thousand five hundred Birr).

4. The identification of Lot in the Bidding Documents is: - Maintenance of different types of pumps.

5. The Bid must be accomplished by the bid security 1% of the offered total price in the form of unconditional bank guarantee or CPO on or before 21 consecutive days starting from the 1st announcement day up to 4:00 am local time closing date at the address specified below.

6. The bid security (CPO) shall be wax Sealed, stamped and signed in separate envelope marked "Bid security" and shall be put in original financial document.

7. Bids will be opened on the same date of bid closing at 4:30am local time at Shaggar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise office. If there will be public holiday the closing and opening day of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and place. Late bidder will be rejected.

8. Technical bid document will be opened on the bid opening date and time in the presence of the bidders or bidders' representatives' who choose to attend at the above-mentioned address and financial bid document is opened after technical evaluation notifications.

9. Bidders attempting to influence the bid shall be disqualified from the bid and the bid security deposited by them shall be forfeited.

10. The Bids shall be valid for one (1) year starting from contract agreement signed; or the entire 2019 E.C budget year

11. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and clarification from Shaggar City Water Supply and Sewerage Service Enterprise.

12. The Company reserves the right to reject any or all bids
