Call for Interest for Multimedia Advocacy and Awareness Campaign Services

Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS) and Large-Scale Food Fortification (LSFF) are priority nutrition interventions aimed at reducing micronutrient deficiencies and improving maternal, newborn, and population health outcomes. To increase public awareness, promote behavior change, and strengthen stakeholder support for these interventions, interested and qualified television stations, radio stations, media production companies, and social media agencies are invited to submit an expression of interest to develop, produce, broadcast, and promote multimedia advocacy and awareness messages on MMS and LSFF through television, radio, and social media platforms.

The objective is to engage a qualified television/radio station or media production company to design, develop, produce, broadcast, and promote multimedia advocacy and awareness messages on MMS and LSFF through television, radio, and social media platforms. The campaign will require professional production of high-quality
communication materials and strategic placement of messages through mass media channels to reach target audiences effectively.

Scope of Work

  • Develop creative concepts and scripts for television, radio, and social media messages on MMS and LSFF.
  • Produce high-quality audio, video, and digital communication materials suitable for public awareness and advocacy purposes.
  • Broadcast and disseminate approved messages through television and radio channels with strong audience reach.
  • Promote campaign messages through relevant social media platforms to enhance public engagement.
  • Provide a media placement plan, including proposed channels, airing schedules, target audiences, and estimated reach.
  • Submit monitoring reports with proof of broadcast, social media performance data, and campaign reach information.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Legally registered television stations, radio stations, media production company, communications firm, or social media agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing and broadcasting advocacy, awareness, or behavior change communication campaigns.
  • Proven capacity to reach national or target audiences through television, radio, and digital platforms.
  • Availability of qualified creative, technical, production, and media placement teams.
  • Ability to deliver services within the agreed timeline and provide complete documentation and reporting.

Required Qualifications

The company shall demonstrate:

  • Valid broadcasting license and/or media production registration.
  • TIN, VAT registration certificate
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in media production and broadcasting.
  • Proven experience implementing national media campaigns.
  • Capacity to produce high-quality video and audio content.
  • Strong social media promotion capability.
  • Experience in health, nutrition, development, or public awareness campaigns.
  • Availability of qualified technical and creative personnel.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Administrative evaluation bidders who have valid business license for the sector, TIN, VAT, will pass to technical evaluation
  • Technical understanding of the assignment (30%)
  • Experience in media production and broadcasting (25%)
  • Quality of proposed methodology and work plan (20%)
  • Qualifications of key personnel (10%)
  • Financial proposal and cost effectiveness (15%)

Applicants shall submit documents which contain administrative, technical and financial proposals to Action Against Hunger office located at Airport Road, behind DH Geda Tower or near to Chaka Buna in person until 13 th Oct.,2026 until 5:00pm. 

  • Technical and financial proposals should be sealed in a separate envelope
