Research, Advocacy & Intervention Strategy for Street-Connected Women under its Employability and Capacity Building Project which is supported by GIZ invest for jobs.

Assignment Summary

The selected research company will conduct a mixed- methods study examining the drivers of street life, vulnerabilities, livelihoods, economic conditions, access to services, and institutional gaps affecting street-connected women.

The assignment will develop an actionable intervention framework addressing root causes of street life and related livelihood, skills development, employment, protection, health, shelter, childcare, social support, and reintegration needs.

The company will also develop advocacy and communication materials and facilitate research dissemination and advocacy programs, stakeholder meetings, workshops and events in cooperation with the Foundation.

Minimum Requirements

• Legally registered professional research company with a valid and renewed trade license applicable to the assignment.
• Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research.
• Demonstrated experience working with
• vulnerable or marginalized populations.
• Appropriate qualified research team and fieldwork capacity.
• Experience in gender-sensitive research, stakeholder engagement and advocacy is an advantage.
