Catering Service Facility Establishment, Operational Setup & Professional Vocational Training

WendemKalidMigbareSenay Foundation (WKF) invites qualified and experienced professional experts to undertake the above assignment under its Employability and Capacity Building Project which is supported by GIZ invest for jobs.

Scope of Assignment

The selected expert will establish a functional catering service facility and operational system from scratch and prepare it for commercial operation. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing and organizing the facility, equipment, workflow, storage, food preparation and service areas.
• Developing operational SOPs covering procurement, food production, hygiene and food safety, inventory, waste management, menu planning, costing, pricing, customer service, delivery and record keeping.
• Establishing menus, recipes, portion control, supplier arrangements, customer/order management and other systems for sustainable operation.
• Designing and delivering afour-week practical vocational catering training for selected beneficiaries, including culinary skills, food safety, food preparation, event catering, table service, kitchen management and customer service.
• Supporting system testing, initial launch, practical coaching and mentorship of beneficiaries and relevant staff.
• Providing required operational manuals, training materials, assessment results and final assignment report with sustainability recommendations.

1. Updated CV showing relevant qualifications and experience.

2. Expression of Interest and brief Technical Approach/Methodology.

3. Copies of relevant academic/professional certificates and renewed trade licenses, where applicable.

4. Evidence of relevant previous experience& Legal status, including references, testimonials, certificates, samples or other supporting documents.

5. Separate Financial Proposal stating the professional fee and other anticipated costs for the four-month assignment.
