1. Ethio telecom invites all interested local and foreign respondents by this International Request for Information (RFI) for the supply of Hybrid Energy Storage Systems (HESS), Semi-Solid-State or Solid-State Battery Technology for Telecom Power Systems, Fuel Cell Energy Solutions for Telecom Power Systems and Hybrid-Wind-Solar Power Systems with RFI No. 4287616. The RFI remains floating starting from October 20, 2026, up to November 10, 2026.
2. Any Interested potential Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), distributors or resellers may obtain further information from Ethio telecom’s website and download RFI document from web sites www.afrotender.com, www.extratenders.com.et and www.2merkato.com free of charge (FOC) during the specified floating period.
3. Interested participants are expected to fulfill the requirements stated here below:
a) Participants must be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), distributors or resellers of the Hybrid Energy Storage Systems (HESS), Semi-Solid-State or Solid-State Battery Technology for Telecom Power Systems, Fuel Cell Energy Solutions for Telecom Power Systems and Hybrid-Wind-Solar Power Systems,
b) Participants should have experience in supplying viable solutions and managing or providing post sales technical and professional support, preferably offering successful solutions in the market.
4. Sealed RFI bids marked as “Request for Information for the supply of Hybrid Energy Storage Systems (HESS), Semi-Solid-State or Solid-State Battery Technology for Telecom Power Systems, Fuel Cell Energy Solutions for Telecom Power Systems and Hybrid-Wind-Solar Power Systems” with RFI NO. 4287616 and be addressed to:

5. RFI proposal will be received at Ethio telecom, Head Office, 2nd Floor, Room No. 211B, before or on November 10, 2026, 5:30pm. RFI proposal presented by any respondent after the closing date shall not be accepted.
6. Respondents are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in this RFI bidding document.
7. Ethio telecom reserves the right to reject all or parts of this RFI.
8. Partial RFI is allowed on solution basis.
