Qualification Requirements

• Nationality A Bidder may have the nationality of any country, subject to the restrictions pursuant to ITB 4.8.  Reference: ITB 4.8.
• Not sanctioned by the Bank A Bidder that has not been sanctioned or debarred by the Bank, pursuant to the Bank’s Anti-Corruption Guidelines, in accordance with its prevailing sanctions policies and procedures as set forth in the WBG’s Sanctions Framework as described in Section VI paragraph 2.2 d., Reference: 2.2d
• Specific Experience The Bidder shall demonstrate that it has successfully completed at least 2 contrats within the last 3 years prior to bid submission deadline, each with a value of at least 40,000,000 Million Birr that have been successfully and substantially completed and that are similar in nature and complexity to the Goods and Related Services under the Contract. For a joint venture, this requirement may be met by all members combined. Reference: TB 11.3(d)
• Average Annual Turnover Minimum average annual turnover of ETB 50,000,000.00 million, calculated as total sales reported within the last 3 years, divided by 3(three) years. For a joint venture, this requirement shall be met by each member. Reference: 1
• Financial Capability The Bidder shall submit audited financial statements for the past three years (2015, 2016and 2017 EFY), or, if not required by the law of the Bidder’s country, other financial statements acceptable to the Purchaser, for the last three years prior to bid submission deadline, demonstrating the current soundness of the Bidder’s financial position.
