The Carter Center Ethiopia is a non-profit international NGO committed to fighting disease. The Carter Center-Ethiopia in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health, Regional Health Bureaus, and other partners is striving in the prevention, control, and elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases for over
the last twenty-five years in Ethiopia.

The Carter Center Ethiopia (TCCE) invites potential registered suppliers under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) to enter a One-Year Framework Agreement with qualified, eligible, and reliable suppliers for the provision of;

• Medical Drugs (Essential pharmaceuticals, antibiotic formulations, therapeutics, and specialized medicines compliant with Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority standards).
• Medical Items/Consumables (examination/surgical gloves, syringes, IV sets, gauze, bandages, PPE etc...)
• Medical Equipment (Aneroid sphygmomanometer, Sterilization Drum, kidney dish, Stainless steel kidney dish, Portable Autoclave/pressure cooker electric, Kerosene Portable Autoclave/pressure cooker, Head Light, Stool Chair, Trolley, Examination Bed etc..)

The procurement process for Medical Items, Consumables and Medical Equipment shall serve as Fixed Prices for the entire duration of the Framework Agreement period and shall be used for bid evaluation, supplier selection, and supplier ranking.

1. A service provider who wishes to participate in this bid must have a renewed Trade License for 2018/19 E.C., a Tax clearance certificate valid at submission of bids, a Taxpayer registration certificate, VAT registration and EFDA renewed license.
2. This invitation for bid is open to all interested bidders, and the bid evaluation and award shall be determined in accordance with the provisions indicated in the bidding document. The bidding document is prepared in the English Language.
3. Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the Country office Logistics & Procurement department before the closing date on November 04, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The envelope must be WAX sealed.
4.
