Yetebaberut Beherawl Petroleum S.C (YBP) was established in May 2004. YBP is fully owned by Ethiopian nationals and the equity capital is 100% local.

The purpose of this assignment is to design a 5 year strategic Plan (2019-2023 E.C) for YBP Share Company in Ethiopia. Where possible the design should leverage on existing structure of the organization, mission & vision, of YBP and services, including YBP's financial & administrative directives, etc.. It should also be based on intensive SWOT analysis and rounds of discussions with YBP authorities.

The consultant will develop a strategic design for YBP which should include the following:

• A business Plan for YBP
• Organizational structure for YBP and key staffing requirements Detailed designs of activities that maps how YBP's business will be developed and guided to through the strategic Plan Period.
• Outline how YBP will leverage on existing business products and services
• Identify potential risks & mitigation actions
• A Monitoring and evaluation plan
• Conduct management and board workshops on finding and recommendations to prioritize strategic directions
• Final strategic and Business Plan for the next 5 years for YBP incorporating comments from the consultations & workshops

Qualifications

• A successful candidate will have knowledge of and/ or proven expertise in:-
• Strong research and analytical skill with the ability to creatively translate and communicate clear information.
• Experience in conducting SWOT analysis and organizational development assessment.
• Familiarity with the national development policies & strategies.
• Experience in doing research and working for the corporate sector.
• Skills & knowledge in business development Plan formulation, (Plan document)
• Skills & knowledge in strategic Plan Preparation
