About the Program

The program is an inspirational and educational broadcast initiative designed to highlight the daily lives, challenges, successes, and aspirations of women. while showcasing their roles across politics, society, and the economy. The program aims to inform, empower, and motivate women and the broader public by providing a dedicated media platform that promotes gender equality and amplifies women's voices.

Call for Proposals

GPAC invites suitably qualified and experienced media production companies for the production and broadcast delivery of a women's empowerment radio program. The program is an infotainment and edutainment initiative dedicated to highlighting the daily lives, challenges, successes, and aspirations of women across politics, society, and the economy.

Program Overview

The program will run for 96 episodes, broadcast twice per week, with each episode lasting one (1) hour. Content shall be

delivered through:

• Interviews and panel discussions
• Live audience participation
• Narratives and storytelling
• Documentaries and features
• Investigative and analytical segments

Content Scope

Thematic coverage to include:

• Women in politics and governance
• Legal rights and protections
• International women's perspectives
• Economic participation & entrepreneurship
• Women in arts, science & sport
• Profiles of outstanding women leaders

Required Qualifications

• Registered and operational media production entity
• Demonstrated experience in radio content production
• Access to qualified broadcast journalists and reporters
• Capacity to field documentary and investigative journalists
• Sound engineering and post-production capability
• Proven track record of on-schedule delivery
• Ability to produce content with editorial independence

Proposal Submission

Interested firms should submit:

1. Technical proposal (a detailed production plan and content calendar: organizational profile and relevant portfolio: proposed staffing structure (including Program Director, Production Manager, Journalists, and Sound Engineers)).

2. Financial proposal (detailed cost breakdown in ETB).

3. Company profile and relevant experience.

4. Valid business license and TIN certificate.
