Hadiya Zone Water, Irrigation and Mines Development Department invites bids for the maintenance of the Humbancho Small Scale irrigation project in Mirab Soro Woreda.

INVINTATION FOR BID

BID NO. HZWIM/HCapital P/01/2026

1. Hadiya Zone, Water, Irrigation and Mines Development department. Irrigation Drainage and Contract Administration Core Process invite all interested and eligible bidder for maintenance of Humbancho Small Scale irrigation project/ scheme in Mirab Soro Woreda

2. All bidders they must fulfill the following criteria;

2.1. Hadiya Zone, Finance Department now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders who have renewed relevant(valid) licenses for 2018 EC, registered for VAT, has recent tax clearance certificate that enable the bidder to participate in the bid and registered,

2.2. All interested eligible bidders they must contain WWC-5 and GC-5 and above building license criteria.

2.3. Technical parts must be fulfill all WWC-5 and GC-5 and above building license criteria.

2.4. The bidder must be accompanied by a bid security 60,000 (sixty thousand birr only) in the form of CPO or bank guarantee and shall remain valid for ninety (90) days. Insurance bond is not acceptable.

2.5. All interested eligible bidders can collect the tender document for the stated address and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 500.00(five hundred birr only).

2.6. The department is not inviting bidders who have currently incomplete projects on hand in Hadiya Zone and the bidders under warning due to their underperformance are unable to participate in the bid.

2.7. Two or more experience in irrigation and drainage project/scheme construction is mandatory.

2.8. Remark Site Investigation is must mandatory

3. Bid shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening.

4. Bidding will be conducted through a NATIONAL COMPETETIVE BIDDING (NCB) procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source as defined in the guidelines.

5. The bid closed at 8:00 local time 21st calendar days of announcement of this invitation the bid will be open the presence of bidders or authorized representative at the same day of 8:30 at local time.

6. The department reserves the right to accept or reject part or all of the bidding process.
