Electrical Vehicles

Lion Insurance Company (sc) invites all interested and eligible bidders by the National Competitive bid for the procurement of Electrical Vehicles

Interested Bidders shall submit the following evidence

Trading License Renewed for 2018 E.C
Tax Clearance Certificate, which states that the bidder can participate in any public tender, valid at bid submission date.
VAT Registration Certificate; and TIN Certificate
Bid document must be stamped sealed and submitted into the designated bid box on or before the closing date on April 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bid will be opened by the Procurement Committee on April 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM. in the presence of bidders and their representative.
Technical proposal have to be submitted as one original and one copy in a separate envelope, duly stamped and sealed.
Financial proposal have to be submitted as one original and one copy in a envelope, duly stamped and sealed.
Comprehensive technical proposal that comprise procedures to be followed to develop the documents team of expertise proposed plan of action from being until final, submission with the necessary details.

The bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 50,000.00 (fifty thousand) ETB in one of the following forms: A. CPO: in the Name of (Lion Insurance Company S.c) or Bank guarantee

Technical Requirements

Type: Passenger vehicle (Automobile)
Seating Capacity: Minimum of five (5) persons
Driving Range: Approximately 300 km or above per full charge
Battery: Lithium-ion battery of equivalent technology with adequate capacity to meet the specified driving range
Charging Capability: Compatible with standard AC charging and equipped with fast DC charging capability
Condition: Brand new, unused, and of the latest available model
Compliance: Must comply with all applicable national and/or International standards and regulations
Detailed technical specifications, including performance, safety, and equipment requirements, will be provided in the bidding document available at the designated office.
