Organizational Overview:

CHAI is a global health organization committed to saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low-and middle-income countries (LMICS). CHAI works to strengthen the capabilities of governments and the private sector in our partner countries to create and sustain high- quality health systems that can succeed without our assistance.

CHAI has been operational in Ethiopia since 2005 and currently supports the Ethiopian health system through nine different programs: Reproductive, Maternal and Neonatal Health. Vaccine Introduction, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Laboratory Service, Health Financing, Essential Medicines, NTD and Assistive Technology.

CHAI seeks to identify qualified potential service providers to update our database and work together for long term contract. Therefore, CHAI hereby invites interested organizations to submit expression of interest to participate in provision of the following services:

• Printing (booklet, brochure, poster, manual)
• Stationery
• IT equipment
• Transport service providers/ Electric vehicles (Regional bases: Oromia, SNNPR, Tigray, Amhara & Afar)
• Photocopy and binding.
• Translation service providers
• Banner Printing (roll up/standing and dropdown...)
• Custom clearing and transiter service providers
• Vehicle maintenance service providers
• Medical equipment importers and suppliers
• Building and maintenance suppliers
• Vehicle Spare parts supplier
• Vehicle tire supplier

Minimum Requirements:

Service providers qualification require submission of the following in a well-organized and clearly stated manner:

• (Please note that no form / template to be collected from CHAI-ET office)
• Legal Business Name and Legal Status (Registered Office and Branch Office Address. Telephone. E mail. Fax.
• Number of employees. Title of the Firm: PLC. S.C. and Partnership, Contact number and physical address).
• Renewed 2018EC Trade License. TIN/VAT and Tax Payment Clearance Certificates
• Motivation Letter or Expression of Interest and capability Statement for participation in these suppliers' qualification and performing as required.
• Current Company Profile
• Main line of business and list of services that the company provides.
• Number of years of experience in the similar business
• Type of service availability
• Delivery time
• List of corporate clients for your company (Company Names, Current Office Address, Telephone, E-Mail, Fax)
• Recommendation/Support Letters from your Customers/Clients
• Company Financial Situation/Audited Balance Sheet / Bank Statement for the last 3 Years.
• After sales services if applicable
• Credit policy
• Location and distance from Meskel Flower Road/Gabon Street
• Cancelation policy and refund policy
• Customer Service guarantee
• Willingness to deliver service to our office
• Email quotation and order acceptance as well as use of IT technology and on call service for emergency

Submission of Expression of Interests (EOI) for Qualification:

To demonstrate your interest. capability and eligibility for qualification, potential service providers must submit copies of documents that provide all the information required above in a sealed envelope by clearly indicating the service to CHAI-Ethiopia to the following address on or before the 15th of May 2026.
