Invitation to Bid

German Foundation for World Population (DSW-Ethiopia) invites qualified bidders for the supply and delivery of the following items

1. Detail Specification of the CBC machine-

 Requirement for suppliers:-

• Renewed trade License for the supply each category items
• VAT Registration Certificate and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
• Proof of experience: testimonial letters for similar supplies provided to NGOs or government institutions in the last 1 year.
• The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security/CPO/ in the amount 2% of the total bid price and this Bid Security shall be valid for twenty one (21 days) after the closing date of bid submission
• EFDA registration for medical equipment
• Registered in the Public Procurement and Property Authority's (PPPA) Suppliers List
• Must have certified engineers for the CBC machine
• Provide Reagent IFU & safety sheets
• Provide IOQ document/Quality & Validation Documents (IQ/OQ/PQ):
• installation Qualification (IQ) Report/Protocol, Operational Qualification (OQ) Report/Protocol, Performance Qualification (PQ) Protocol or Guidelines and Calibration Certificate
• Must provide minimum of 1 year warranty for the medical equipment
• Ensure spare parts for at least 5 years for the medical equipment
• Provide the machines/CBC/ with full all types of startup reagents
• For the CBC machine the supplier shall willing to enter into service agreement for installation/configuration at Jimma town, maintenance, prior to training provide full training modules, basic maintenance and troubleshooting training for biomedical engineers/ 3 lab technicians for 3-5 days,
• Ensure to supply Reagents: M-6 series (DS Diluent, LD/LH Lyse, FD Dye, etc.)

Responsibility of selected/Awarded/suppliers:-

• Shall provide the items in accordance with the detailed specifications set for each  item
• Ensuring all items are new or unused, and free from defects.
• Shall deliver to DSW Country Office within 3 working days after award letter provided;
• Any items found defective or non-compliant must be replaced at the supplier's expense
• Based on type of items samples will be requested prior to contract award.

Bid Submission period:

Any qualified and interested suppliers shall submit their duly signed and stamped bid documents in a sealed envelope within three (3) working days (Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM) from the date of announcement. Late submissions will not be considered.

Items delivery Timeline and Inspection

The suppliers are expected to deliver the items within three (3) calendar days from the date of contract

award. DSW reserves the right to inspect the items upon delivery.

How to apply:-

Suppliers shall submit sealed and clearly marked with the category/lots/being bid for up to 29th April 2026 5:00pm to DSW-Ethiopia Country Office, Gurd-Shola Holy City Center 6th Floor office No. 601. Electronic/postal tender will not be permitted. No tender will be accepted after 29th April, 2026 5:00 pm.

Each submission should include: Detailed specifications of the items, Price offers (inclusive of all applicable taxes).

DSW reserves the right to cancel the tender fully or partially should a better alternative be identified.
