Tender Notice

The Southern Ethiopia Regional State, Gamo Zone, Arba Minch Zuria Woreda Finance and Planning Development Office, for the 2018 Budget Year, intends to hire contractors for the construction of drinking water projects owned by the Sustainable Land Management Programme-V (SLM-V) under the Woreda Agriculture Office. The construction will take place in Dega Ocholo, Dega Shara, and Ganta Bonke Kebeles through an open competitive bid.

Accordingly, contractors of grade GC-5 or WWC-5 and above who meet the following requirements are invited to participate:

Requirements and Mandatory Documents:

• Renewed Business License for the current year.
• Business Registration Certificate.
• VAT Registration Certificate.
• Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
• Supplier Profile/Registration Certificate.
• A Site Visit Letter obtained from the employer's office or the specific Kebele where the project is located.
• Bid Bond (Security): A bid security of 30,000 (thirty thousand) ETB must be provided in the form of a CPO (Bank Certified Guarantee), other bank-approved methods per procurement directives, or in cash.

Obtaining Bid Documents:

Interested bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding documents from the Arba Minch Zuria Woreda Finance and Planning Development Office, Procurement Department, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 400 ETB, starting from the date this announcement is issued.

Submission and Opening of Bids

• Bidders must properly fill out the documents and prepare one Original and one Copy in two separate sealed envelopes.
• The envelopes must be clearly marked as "Original" and "Copy," include the name of the construction project, be signed and stamped, and include the bidder's phone number.
• The bid will remain open for 7 consecutive working days starting from the date of this announcement.
• The bid will close on the 8th working day at 11:00 AM (5:00 local time) and will be opened on the same day at 2:00 PM (8:00 local time) in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives. If the 8th day falls on a non- working day, the closing and opening will take place on the next working day at the same times.
• The absence of bidders or their representatives at the opening ceremony will not delay the bidding process.

Additional Information:

• The Office reserves the right to cancel the bid partially or fully if it finds a better alternative.
• Warning: Bidders who attempt any form of fraud or malpractice will be disqualified.
