The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church Development and Inter Church Aid Commission (EOC-DICAC) is a registered Ethiopian Residence Charity organization, established in 1972 as the development wing of the Church. Since its establishment, EOC-DICAC is executing different types of development and humanitarian programs in different regions of the country. One of such projects under implementation is livelihood and peace Project in Amhara region, North Shewa zone at Kewet wereda.

Accordingly, EOC-DICAC intends to construct small scale irrigation at Tere Kebelle 27kms off road from Shewa Robit town.

Therefore, EOC-DICAC invites registered contractors of category WWC/GWWC five and above that full fill all the requirements listed by EOC- DICAC.

Bidders to engage in this tender should have renewed license for the current year, certificate of competence from the concerned Ministry office, VAT, TIN, and a valid/current tax Clearance from the concerned body to participate in tender, relevant past experience with supporting testimonies, adequate technical personnel with renewed professional license, construction equipment, can submit financial capacity in the form of unconditional credit facility from a recognized bank, audited financial statement, good relationship with previous clients etc.

• Interested applicants shall collect documents from EOC- DICAC North Shewa coordination office, located at Debirebirehan town,, Atse Zere'a Yakob building and EOC-DICAC head office located at Arat kilo in front of Turist hotel from the first date of this advertisement for ten consecutive days with a nonrefundable fee of birr 1,000 (One thousand birr).
• Original and copies for the financial only and original for technical credentials in separate envelopes with a Bid Security of 2% of the total price quotation including VAT in the form of certified cheque (CPO) only, from recognized bank, to be considered after arithmetic check, shall be submitted at EOC DICAC head office 2nd floor located at Arat killo in front of Turist Hotel, on or before the 10th day of this advertisement up to 10:00 a.m.
• Bids shall be valid for 90 days.
• Sign and stamp on all pages of both the original and copies of the bid documents.
• Technical documents shall be opened at the 10th day of this advertisement at 10:30 a.m. and the financial will be opened after the technical qualification at EOC DICAC head office hall 1st floor at Arat Killo in the presence of interested bidders who choose to attend. If the 10th day is not a working day, the opening date will be the next working day at 10:30 a.m.
• EOC-DICAC has the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
