Project: Food System & Resilience Program (FSRP)

The Amhara Regional state Bureau of Agriculture through the Government of Ethiopia has received credit and grant from the IDA toward the cost of Food System & Resilience Program (FSRP) and it intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for which this invitation is issued.

1. The Amhara Regional state Bureau of Agriculture North Shoa Zone Ephratana Gidim wereda now invites eligible bidders/Contractors Grade 4/four WWC & above for Dereke Small Scale Irrigation/weir diversion project.

2. Bidding will be conducted through a National Competitive Bidding (NCB/ RFB) procedure specified in the World Bank's Procurement Guidelines: under IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.

3. Bidders should be Technical Evaluated with their Technical specification attached bidders technical proposal document Against Technical Evaluation Criteria of biding Document.

4. Bids shall be valid for period of (90) days after bid opening date

5. Bids security should be submitted in the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO.

6. Bidders are required to submit copies of all eligible documents and licenses, which are renewed for the year 2018 E.C. The following document & / Renewed license, VAT Registration Certificate & Tax payer Identification Number TIN and other necessary documents. So the Bidder should have to be attached this document with technical proposal of their Bids document.

7. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased directly from the Ephrata Gidim wereda Finance Office procurement work processer head, Ataye town up on payment of a none refundable fee birr 500 to the address indicated below.

8. Bidders shall submit two envelopes, "Technical Qualification information' in one envelope and "Financial Bid and bid security" separately in another envelope and should be combined in one sealed in an outer envelope.

9. Bid must be delivered to Ephratana Gidim wereda Finance Office Procurement, and property Administration Head Processer Ataye Kebele- 02,room no. 6.

10. The tender announcement will be on air for 30 (thirty) consecutive days from may 10, 2018 E.C-june 9, 2018 E.C. And on june 10, 2018 E.C. The tender box closed at 4:00 AM Morning local time and opened at 4:30 AM Morning/Local time on the same date in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who wish to attend it. Late bids will be rejected.

11. The Ephratana Gidim Finance Office reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bid.

12. Inspection and acquisition of the Tendering documents and further information can be obtained from our office.

14. If the tender opening day is holy day, it will be closed and opened at the same time on the next working day.
