ZOA Ethiopia would like to invite contractors to submit Bid documents both technical & financial documents for the construction/rehabilitation of WASH facilities in communities & institutions that will be done in Mandura and Guba woreda of Metakel zone, posted on April 29, 2026. The details are provided in this Bid invitation document and Bill of quantities. The contractors should collect the bidding document from ZOA country office Addis Ababa logistics unit or ZOA Metekel Field Office.

1. Rehabilitation of Shallow well at Metekel Zone, Metekel Zone_ Guba Woreda (2), Fankuso Kebele, & Mandura Woreda, Asitsa Kebele, wangi Goxi(1)
2. Foto Manjari HP Water Supply Expansion, 10000-liter Water tanker installation and Water point Costruction Activity at Mandura Woreda, Fotomanjari Kebele
3. Hand Washing Facility for Foto Manjari HP, & P.School at Mandura Woreda, Foto Manjari Kebele
4. Water Supply Expansion/Costruction Activity for Health Post at Guba Woreda
5. Construction of Hand-washing Facility (inclusive)
6. Kutir Hulet Kebele Gravity Spring Rehabilitation Through Construction of new Spring Eye, 8m3 Temporary night storage and Water point with Fence
7. Pipe Installation from Spring eye to 10m3 Temporary Night storage
8. 10m3 Temporary night storage construction for Mandura Woreda, Kutir-2 Kebele

Bid Participants shall present the following Mandatory Requirements with their bid document.

Mandatory Requirement

1. Copy of Renewed & Relevant business license

2. Copy of VAT Registration Certificate

3. Copy of TIN Certificate

4. Bid Security Bond valid for 90 days, 2% of bid amount by CPO or Bank Guarantee in the name of ZOA only issued by a recognized Banks. CPO will be returned after the winners' vendor identified & awarded.

5. Relevant document which can show past performance and experience.

6. Right supplier category

• The bid will be floated from May 20, 2026, to June 1, 2026, until 2:00 P.M.
• Late submissions will be rejected.
• ZOA Ethiopia reserves the right to reject any bid and to annul the bidding process, either partially or entirely, at any time before the contract award without incurring any liability to bidders.
• The Bid Instruction Document and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) can be obtained from ZOA From Relief to Recovery offices during working hours (8:30 A.M. -5:00 P.M.) from May 20, 2026, to June 1, 2026, at the following locations:

Country Office, Addis Ababa: Located on the way to the Somali Embassy in Bole Michael, near Tizeze Hotel.
Metekel Field Office, Gilgal Beles Town: Located in the Ambessa Bank branch building.

The bid submission will close on June1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., and bids will be opened on the same date at 2:30 PM. at the ZOA Country Office in Addis Ababa.
