Wako Gutu Foundation (WGF) is a national non-profit humanitarian and development organization established in 2006 in memory of General Wako Gutu. Registered under Ethiopia's CSO Proclamation No. 1113/2019 (Reg. Bid Description

WGF invites qualified film production firms or consultants to submit proposals for producing a 30-45 minute documentary film on the social and economic impacts of WGF's interventions on pastoral and agropastoral communities Bale, Borana and East Borana Zones of Oromia. The assignment – covering pre-production (script & storyboard), production (field filming & interviews), and post-production (editing, Amharic & Afan Oromo voice-overs, subtitles, graphics & five short clips) must be completed within 8-10 weeks and shall deliver a final film, five social media clips, and all raw/editable source files. Applicants must be legally registered, present a relevant portfolio of at least three similar productions, and field a multilingual team (English, Afan Oromo, Amharic) with expertise in journalism, videography, and social development.

Bid Document Submission

Interested film production companies may collect the Terms of Reference (TOR) from WGF office, either in person or via email, starting from date this bid is announced on Reporter Newspaper. Price quotations, together with all required legal documents and other relevant evidence, must be submitted to WGF office or sent by email to the same address. Submissions should be placed in separately sealed envelopes and must be received no later than 16 June 2026, at 5:00 PM (East Africa Time).
