Menschen fur Menschen Foundation invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for selected site, drilling, construction and completion of the aforementioned work.

To: All contractors registered for Water Works well drilling & rehabilitation of category grade 3 (WDRC-3) and above with renewed license valid for the year.

1. Menschen fur Menschen Foundation on behalf of community of project intervention areas, has allocated budget for the drilling & construction of borehole located at Bako Tibe Woreda, West Shoe Zone of the Oromia Region, as indicated in the bid document and now invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for selected site, drilling, construction and completion of the aforementioned work.

2. A completed set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to the office of Menschen Fur Menschen Foundation Project Coordination Office, A.A. around Bulbulla, in front of Aser concrete mixing plant upon payment of non-refundable Birr 1000.00.

3. The technical and financial proposals must be submitted before the opening time indicated below, each enclosed in a separate, sealed envelope.

4. Bidders may obtain further information from, inspect and acquire the bidding documents at aforementioned address under item (2); P.O. Box 2568, Tel: 251- 11-471-43-58/20/4579, Fax 251 -11-471-4163, A.A Ethiopia.

5. All bids must include a bid security equal to 1% of the total offered bid amount, issued strictly in an acceptable CPO form.

6. All bids must be received at the address specified under item (2) above at or before 2:00 p.m. on the 10th calendar day from the date of this announcement.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at 2:30 p.m. on 10th calendar day of the announcement at aforementioned address specified under item (2). If there will be public holiday & weekends on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and the same venue.

8. The Drilling and construction work for two sites shall be completed with maximum of 120 calendar Days from the commencement of the work.

9. Bidders are requested to fill all necessary details in the schedules of the bid document.

10. Menschen Fur Menschen Foundation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids.
