MERQ Consultancy PLC is a leading health informatics and M&E firm in Ethiopia. In partnership with the Ministry of Health MERO and international donors, MERQ is implementing the "Digital Bridge" initiative to track zero-dose children in remote and pastoralist regions. We are seeking qualified vendors to supply high-durability hardware for field-based health workers.

1. Scope of Supply

  • Item:  Ruggedized Android Tablets (GPS-Enabled)
  • Quantity:  34 Units
  • Purpose: Household mapping and immunization tracking in harsh field environments.

2. Key Minimum Specifications

  • Durability: IP67/68 & MIL-STD-810G/H certified (Water/Dust/Drop proof).
  • OS & Connectivity: Android 13+ (GMS support), 4G LTE (Ethio Telecom compatible), & Dedicated GPS.
  • Display & Power: 8.0" to 10.1" sunlight-readable screen; Min 8,000 mAh battery.
  • Memory:  Min 4GB RAM/ 64GB Internal Storage.
