Request for Expression of Interest (EOI)- LDV Light Duty Vehicle Rental Service

East Africa Bottling S.C. a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, invites qualified, experienced, and reliable car rental companies to express their interest in providing vehicle rental services across Ethiopia.

The objective of this Expression of interest (EOI) is to identify competent car rental service providers with technical capability, operational capacity, and relevant experience in delivering vehicle rental services. Interested companies should provide high quality, reliable and efficient transportation solutions

Eligibility and Submission Requirements

Interested companies must submit the following documents and information:

• Copy of a valid and renewable commercial registration, business license, TIN certificate, VAT certificate and tax clearance
• Company profile, including organizational background and technical capability.
• Evidence of previous experience, with at least five multinational or NGO company references.
• Full company contact details, including:

Additional Technical Requirement

• Minimum Devices & Requirements

1. Ensure the operation of the following vehicle components: Lights, brake lights, turning lights, horn, tires, wipers, spare tire, suspension, trunk locks, brakes

2. Reverse Camera or Proximity Sensors (preferably both, but at least one as mandatory)

3. Reverse Alarm

4.Side right and left rearview Mirrors

5. Warning triangles, spare tire with tools

6.Fire Extinguisher, first aid kit, annual technical inspection & third party cover

7. Side and rear reflective tape

8. Three-point seat belt for each passenger

9. ABS brakes.

10. Airbags for driver and passenger

11. Telematics (tracking system)

12. Dashcam (Driver Monitoring system)

Vehicle Condition Requirements

1. Legally registered

2. Roadworthy and safe, no defects on components, no leakages and defects observed

3. Inspected regularly/Regular Preventative maintenance in place

4. Free from major body damage, no cracks on glasses and lights

5. Periodic maintenance according to the manufacturer's schedule

6. Equipped with good-condition tires

7. Having properly functioning brakes and steering tire standards

8. No damaged or retreaded tires on the steering axle

9. Pre-trip Inspection must be filled out weekly

The deadline for submission is from Jun 22, 2026 to July 03, 2026. Late submissions may not be considered.
