1. Background

Médecins Sans Frontières Switzerland is an international humanitarian medical organization, License certificate No 7798, providing assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural and man-made disasters, and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination, and irrespective of race, religion, creed, or political affiliation. MSF-Switzerland has emergency responses and regular activities in Ethiopia in our project locations in Begi, Nekemte and Benishangul Gumuz including the Addis Ababa coordination office.

2. Scope of Bidding

The selected company shall provide the below vehicle types to MSF Switzerland

  • List of vehicles: We need 5 (Five) different types of diesel vehicles.

3. Must Meet Criteria for Sellers/Suppliers

  • TIN registration certificate
  • VAT registration certificate
  • Renewed trade license for the year 2018 Ethiopian Calendar
  • Valid tax clearance for the year 2018 Ethiopian Calendar
  • Provide separate sealed envelopes for the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal, with each proposal consisting of one original and one copy.

4. Instructions to Bidders

  • Interested bidders can collect tender documents required for the proposal at the MSF Switzerland office on the address stated below at (No. 6), from 6 July 2026.
  • Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked Bid for OCG Vehicles ETO/MSFG/02/2026 MSF Switzerland Ethiopia" with the original and copy in separate envelopes.
  • Bids must be delivered to the MSF Switzerland Ethiopia office on the address shown below
  • Late submissions will not be considered.
  • If interested, questions and clarifications can be obtained at MSF Switzerland office in Addis Ababa during office working hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, until the closing date.

5. Bid Submission & Requirements

  • A complete set of tender documents can be collected from the address stated below at (No. 6) starting from July 6, 2026 during office working hours (PLEASE COME WITH YOUR COMPANY'S EMAIL ADDRESS [Tender documents will be sent to your email after registration)
  • All eligible bidders are permitted to collect the tender documents.
  • Bid Submission Deadline: Bids must be delivered on July 20, 2026, 8:30AM to 10:00 AM only to the address listed below at (No. 6). Arrivals after 10:00 AM will be disqualified.

6. Bid Opening:

  • Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend on July 20, 2026, 10:30 AM, to check the must meet the criteria. The MSF tender committee will then proceed with the internal evaluation of the bids. The results will be posted on the notice board outside the MSF office.
