for the construction of Water Supply Schemes, for Billlo & Gorbo kebeles of Mieso Woreda, West Hararghe Zone, Oromia region state, Ethiopia

1. The ISLAMIC RELIEF (IRE) invites all eligible contractors/ bidders registered from respective government regulatory bureau under the category of WWC/GC of Grade 4 and above, who have renewed and valid business licenses for the fiscal year 2018 E.C and who are VAT and TIN registered to submit their bid offer to undertake construction of of Water Supply Schemes, at Bililo & Gorbo kebeles of Mieso Woreda, West Hararghe Zone, Oromia region state, Ethiopia;

2. A complete set of bidding documents can be purchased by any interested eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the ISLAMIC RELIEF ETHIOPIA (IRE), upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 500.00 at Islamic Relief Ethiopia A/C 1000007230714.

3. Tender documents were collected from both Addis Ababa Country Office and the Chiro Field Office. However, all technical and financial bids will be opened only at the Country Office in Addis Ababa due to inadequate staffing at the Field Office.

4. Experience with similar assignments for at least three years is required;

5. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of bid amount in CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee, the bid security shall be valid for 90 days starting from the bid opening date;

7. Wax-sealed envelopes containing two separate envelope Technical and Financial sealed and marked "Bid Security," "Original and Copy"

8. Bids documents must be submitted physically to IR Ethiopia Country Office only before Tuesday 21st July 2026 at 10:00AM Morning. Bid will be closed on the same date at 10:00 AM and be opened on the same date at 10:30 AM at Addis Ababa office.

9. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Security in unconditional bank guarantee for the sum of 10 % (ten percent) of the total sum of the contract.

10. Bids will be evaluated based on criteria specified in the tendering document and guidelines.

11. Bidders are advised to read the instructions & information to bidders and fill in their bids.

12. IRE reserves the right to reject any or all offers without giving reason for doing so.
