The Brooke Ethiopia is a registered INGO in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Authority for Civil Society Organization under registration no. 0883 and working for the improvement of the welfare of working animals in Ethiopia since 2006. 

To achieve its mission, Brooke Ethiopia collaborates with government livestock and agricultural institutions, as well as Jimma, Hawassa, Wollo, and Bahir Dar Universities.

Brooke Ethiopia hereby invites eligible and qualified suppliers to participate in the procurement of veterinary medical equipment and veterinary medicines required for its program activities during the current fiscal year.

Interested bidders must fulfil the following requirements:

1. Bidders must have a valid and renewed business license relevant to the supply of the goods specified in this tender.

2. Interested bidders may obtain the complete bidding document from Brooke Ethiopia Head Office, located in Bole Sub-City, Woreda 03, House No. 797, Addis Ababa, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred Birr).

3. Bidders shall submit a Bid Security equivalent to 2% of the total bid price in the form of CPO.

4. Completed bid documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope and deposited in the tender box located at Brooke Ethiopia Head Office within 15 (fifteen) consecutive calendar days from the date this invitation is published in the newspaper. The submission deadline is 7:30 (local time) on the 15th day. If the deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, the submission deadline shall automatically be extended to the next working day. Brooke Ethiopia reserves the right to extend the bid submission deadline if deemed necessary.

5. Late bids received after the stated closing date and time shall not be accepted.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their duly authorized representatives at 8:00 (local time) on the bid closing date at Brooke Ethiopia Head Office.

7. Brooke Ethiopia reserves the right to extend the bid closing date, reject any or all bids, cancel the tender in whole or in part, or disqualify bidders whose submissions fail to comply with the requirements of the bidding document, without prior notice.

8. Brooke Ethiopia reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities of the veterinary medical equipment and veterinary medicines specified in the bidding document based on program requirements.

9. Bidders with a documented history of poor performance shall not be eligible to participate in this bidding process.
