3. Lott-III: Land Preparation Works for a 300-Hectare Crop Production Farm

Workneh Mekonen Mixed Agriculture Development invites Grade 3 and/ or above General Contractors or companies which have experience on Clearing and Rough Leveling Works, Irrigation Canals and In-farm Access Roads Construction and Land Preparation Works to submit sealed bids for the execution of 'Lott - 1: Clearing and Rough Leveling Works for a 300-Hectare Crop Production Farm, Lott II: Irrigation Canals and In-farm Access Roads Construction for 300-hectare Crop Production Farm and Lott III: Land Preparation Works for a 300-Hectare Crop Production Farm' located in Shenkora Kebele, Nyangatom District, South Omo Zone, South Ethiopia Regional State, Ethiopia.

1. Required Bid Documents:

Interested bidders are required to submit the following documents along with their bid;

i. Renewed trade license

ii. TIN Certificate

iii. VAT Registration Certificate

iv. Competency registration certificate from the relevant government body

v. Documentary evidence of financial capability and relevant experience

2. Biding Documents;

Interested bidders may purchase a complete set of biding documents starting from the next day of bid announcement date up on payment of a non-refundable birr 500 / Five Hundred Birr Only/ for each Lot and can collect the documents from Workneh Mekonen Mixed Agriculture Development Head Office, Kirkos Sub City, Woreda 7, AN Business Center Building. Sixth Floor, Room No, 602.

3. Bid Security:

Bidders must furnish a bid security of 10% of bid price in the form of CPO or unconditional bank guarantee from recognized bank.

4. Submission of Bids:

Bids must be submitted into the tender box provided for this purpose on or before August 11, 2026 at 10:00 A.M at Workneh Mekonen Mixed Agriculture Development Head Office, Kirkos Sub City, Woreda 7, AN Business Center Building, Sixth Floor, Room No, 602. 

5. Bid opening:

The Bid will be opened at the same address on August 11, 2026 at 10:30 A.M in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

7. Submission Format:

Bidders should submit their bid document as follows. One original and one copy technical and financial document shall be separately sealed and duly marking the envelop as "ORIGENAL and "COPY". These envelopes containing the original and copy shall then be enclosed in one single envelop. The bid security shall be sealed in an independent envelop. Again all the technical and financial document including the bid security envelop shall be sealed together in one envelop.
