Expertise France has launched an international call for bids for the supply of medical equipment for Adwa General Hospital in the Tigray region and Abala Primary Hospital in the Afar region.

Subject: Invitation to Training on the Online Tender Application Process Date: July 24, 2026 Ref: EF/PSU/PC/002/2026   Dear Sir/Madam, Expertise France has launched an international call for bids for the Supply of Medical Equipment for Adwa General Hospital, Tigray region and Abala Primary Hospital Afar Region.   The tender is available on the French public procurement portal: https://www.marches-publics.gouv.fr/app.php/entreprise/consultation/3044794?orgAcronyme=s2d    Interested bidders are invited to submit their applications through the procurement platform: https://www.marches-publics.gouv.fr    The deadline for bid submission is August 26, 2026, 14:00 (Paris time).   To assist interested bidders with the online submission process, Expertise France will organize two training sessions at its office:   Venue:   Expertise France Ethiopia Office Cactus Plaza, 7th Floor Airport Road, Wollo Sefer Addis Ababa, Ethiopia   Training Schedule:

• Tuesday , August 18, 2026 – 10:00 a.m. / 4:00 a.m. (Ethiopia time)
• Monday , August 24, 2026 – 3:00 p.m. / 9:00 a.m. (Ethiopia time)

Interested participants are kindly invited to attend one of the above training sessions, according to their preferred schedule. The training will provide only guidance on the online application and bid submission process through the French procurement platform.   To register, please send the name of the company and the name and contact details of the participant to procurement.et@expertisefrance.fr  no later than August 15, 2026. Attendance may be limited to [one/two] representative(s) per company.   The training will be limited exclusively to practical guidance on accessing PLACE and submitting a tender electronically. It will not cover the interpretation of the tender documents, technical specifications, eligibility requirements or evaluation criteria.   Participation in the training is optional and will not affect the evaluation of tenders. Any questions concerning the tender documents or procurement requirements must be  submitted through PLACE in accordance with the tender rules. Responses to such questions will be communicated through PLACE and made available equally to all interested tenderers.
