Invitation of sealed Bid for the supply of 16 Heavy-Duty Walking foot Leather Sewing Machine

Youth and Cultural Development Foundation (YCDF) is a non-profit organization dedicated in empowering young people through skills development, entrepreneurship, and employment creation. With financial support from Mastercard Foundation, YCDF partner with Emanuel Development Association (EDA) for implementing "Windows of Hope" project. This project aims to create a job for 275 youths by providing, entrepreneurship, life skills and vocational training on leather sewing. As part of the project YCDF intends to procure sixteen (16) leather sewing machines. Accordingly, YCDF invites eligible suppliers to submit sealed bids for the supply of 16 sewing machines.

Leather Sewing Machine Specifications

The machine shall have the following specifications:

• Heavy Duty Walking Foot leather Sewing Machine
• Needle Type: DP x 17 (#18-23)
• Single Needle, Two Thread System
• Maximum Stitch Length: 9 mm
• Double Capacity Hook
• Bed Size: 477 x 178 mm
• Voltage: 220-240V, 50Hz
• Complete with machine table, direct-drive motor, stand, foot pedal, accessories and user manual
• Minimum 12-month warranty
• Availability of spare parts and after-sales service

Bid Closing and Opening

The deadline for submission of bids is August 10, 2026 before 10.00 am in the morning. Late bids shall not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bid Opening Committee and minutes of the bid opening proceedings will be prepared and recorded.
