CALL FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES

Education Development Trust (EDT) is a non-political, not-for-profit, nonsectarian international NGO. It has a bigger program operating in Ethiopia called Leaders in Teaching Ethiopia (LITE). The LITE initiative is a Mastercard Foundation-supported program implemented by Imaginelday, Education Development Trust and Geneva Global. The program started in December 2025 and aims to strengthen learning outcomes and significantly increase the number of secondary school students transitioning to university, TVET, or dignified employment.

Education Development Trust-Ethiopia is currently operating in Oromia and Central Ethiopia.

Education Development Trust - Ethiopia invites sealed bids from all eligible and qualified bidders who are technically competent and hold valid licenses for the conduct of annual audit service. EDT is, thus. looking for a potential Audit Firm for conducting Audit of Accounts of Education Development Trust - Ethiopia.

Mandatory eligibility criteria:

• Certificate of Professional Competence issued by the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia,
• Renewed Trade/Operating business license,
• Value Added Registration (VAT) certificate,
• Tax Identification certificate,
• Bid security bond of Birr 25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand) by CPO only which is Valid for 60 days beginning on the date of bid is opened on a separate Envelop,

Bid Information:

• Bid documents can be obtained from 10 August 2026 to 21 August 2026 Hard copy from EDT Ethiopia program office located on Jema Building 5th floor, next to Dreamliner Hotel, Meskel Flower area.
• Bid will be closed on 21 August 2026 at 2:00 PM and opened on 24 August 2026 at 2:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their legal representative who choose to attend at the bid opening at EDT Program office.
