Call for Construction Contractors

Proposed Renovation and Improvement Works for Office, Canteen, Blomedical Workshop, Kadisco Warehouse and Associated Facilities

MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices (MSIE-RC), formerly Marie Stopes International Ethiopia, invites eligible and qualified construction contractors to submit sealed Technical and Financial Proposals for the Proposed Renovation and Improvement Works for Office, Canteen, Biomedical Workshop, Kadisco Warehouse and Associated Facilities located at Kadisco Warehouse, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The project involves renovation, maintenance, improvement, electrical, plumbing, partitioning, waterproofing, painting, workshop and canteen renovation works, warehouse partitioning, construction of a used garage oil storage and disposal room, and associated building improvement works.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested bidders must:

  • Be registered as General Contractor (GC) or Building Contractor (BC) Grade 3, 4, or 5.
  • Possess a valid and renewed Trade License/Business Registration Certificate.
  • Have a valid Construction License/Certificate of Competence.
  • Possess valid VAT Registration and TIN Certificates.
  • Demonstrate experience in similar building renovation and construction projects.

Mandatory Documents

Bidders are required to submit:

  • Signed and stamped bidding documents.
  • Renewed Trade License/Business Registration Certificate. Construction License/Certificate of Competence.
  • VAT Registration Certificate.
  • TIN Certificate.
  • Bid Security of ETB 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Ethiopian Birr Only) in the form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by a bank licensed to operate in Ethiopia.

Bid Submission Requirements
Bidders must submit:

1. Technical Proposal. (sealed separately)

2. Financial Proposal (sealed separately)

Both envelopes shall be enclosed in one outer sealed envelope and deposited in the designated bid box.

Bid Collection and Submission

Bid documents can be collected from the Reception Desk of MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices Support Office located at Wollo Sefer, in front of Tebaber Berta Building, Addis Ababa, during working hours (8:30 AM to 5:30 PM).

Submission Deadline

  • September 7,2026 Before 10 AM

Bid Opening

Bids will be opened on:

September 7, 2026, 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives at the MSIE-RC Meeting Hall.
