Detailed External annual audit reports (not financial statements) for the last three (3) consecutive recent years. We consider two (2) years with better sales volumes for the bidder year on year comparison. If the company newly established (less than two years) the bidder can submit one-year annual external audit report, if the amount of annual turnover is sufficient for the required amount.

N.B. If the bidder is newly established less than two years can submit one-year detail external audit report if it fulfils the required amount of annual turnover. ​

​The required amount of average annual turnover is as follows    ​ETB 180,080,000

No conflict of interest as described in ITB Clause 6.

Having been submitted VAT registration certificate issued by the tax authority (in case of contract value of Birr 100,000.00 and above) in accordance with ITB Clause 4. 6(b)(ii)

Having been submitted valid trade license or business organization registration certificate issued by the country of establishment in accordance with ITB Clause 4.6(b)(i)

Having been submitted valid tax clearance certificate issued by the tax authority (Domestic Bidders Only) in accordance with ITB Clause 4.6(b)(iii)

Nationality in accordance with ITB Clause 4.2.

In the case of a bid submitted by a joint venture (JV), the Bidder has to submit the Form Data on Joint Ventures, the Agreement governing the formation of joint venture, or letter of intent to form JV, including a draft agreement, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.1

Bidder has been not debarred by a decision of the Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency from participating in public procurements for breach of its obligation under previous contracts, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.4.

professional qualification

At least 5 (five) staff currently work for the Bidder;

Among the staff mentioned at least 3 (three) of them should have Degree or above in Mechanical /Automotive engineering and related subjects and 2 (two) staff should have certificate or above. The bidder must submit the staff members’ educational qualification certificate

The initial delivery period of the goods should be within Sixty /60/ consecutive days & completion period is ninety/90/ consecutive days starting from the signing date of the contract

Bidder has to complete its Technical Specification + Technical Offer+ Compliance Sheet Form in accordance with technical specification presented as per template in Section 6, Statement of Requirements and submit the following mandatory attachments

Bidder has to submit Description of the organization of the warranty offered in accordance with the conditions laid down in GCC Clause 23

Bidder has to submit Manufacturer Authorization Letter in accordance with ITB Clause 5.6

Certificates of satisfactory execution

Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts in the stream of business from the past three (3) recent consecutive years that demonstrate and presentable of the bidder, and sufficient for the required amount. It is enough one Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts in the stream of business if the contract amount is sufficient for the required amount. The required amount is 154,354,000 ETB

the Certificate of satisfactory execution of contracts shall include the following data:​

a)      ​The name and place of establishment of the contracting parties,​

b)      ​The subject-matter of the contract,​

c)      ​The value of the contract​

d)      ​The time and place of performance of the contract,​

e)      ​A statement concerning the satisfactory execution of contracts.

The purchaser shall consider supplier having a well-established dealership & after sales service facility such as

•         a well-established dealership

·        the capacity of the bidders to conduct service and repair activities in its own workshop and onsite at customer’s project and workshop

•         Current availability of spare parts in the bidder stock.

•         The past experience of the bidder in providing after sales service

•         Workshop with certified competency license

Authenticated license of the rental warehouse agreement authenticated by Government document authentication and registration Organization located in Ethiopia if it is rented and If it is owner certificate of ownership given by the Government concerned Office must submitted. Bidder should have a warehouse premises in Addis Ababa or around 35 km. which is well equipped and accessible for transportation and the volume of the warehouse must be at least 300 m2
